āļø On Sunday April 6th, Sardinia is Mine awaits you for a hiking tour in the Iglesias area, where, thanks to a loop trail, you will have the opportunity to discover two mining villages rich in history: San Benedetto, a small hamlet of Iglesias still inhabited today, which clearly shows its mining past, and Malacalzetta, where you will see the ruins of a village lying isolated among mountains and hills. Along the path, you will encounter ancient abandoned buildings and fascinating mining ruins, remnants of a past that strongly defines the history of Iglesias.
